I ragged my fellow freshie

It was the first movie being screened in OAT(Open air theatre).So almost all the insti was there.I was sitting with my seniors and fellow freshies.A senior told us that when the' pappu cant dance 'comes all of us freshies must go over and dance in front of the screen,but the idea got packed and we were watching the movie.There were still 30 minutes left when a senior called me and asked me to take the intro of a guy sitting in the backrow.................but i was too much of an enthu candidate to just stick to an intro:)
Well then,i went over to tht guy and sat beside him and said roughly,"Put intro."
He started with his insti name,which unfortunately he didnt have.Maybe i should have given him a name myself ,didnt think of it at that time,cha missed a chance of naming someone in my first year itself!!!!!!He then went over to his nick(that is his actual name) and continued with the usual format.I interrupted him in middle,he wasnt too happy about it cause he knew i was going to ask him to do something stupid.I asked him,"Do you know how to whistle?".He replied tht he did,so i asked to whistle once,he did.It was loud enough to make heads turn.So i asked him to do something which my seniors had asked me to do,whistle at every sad scene that comes.Back when my seniors asked me to do that i had escaped cause my whistle was loud enough,but there was no escaping for this guy.So there came a scene when the heroines fiance slaps her cause she tells him that she is in love with the hero.He whistled at that,a few heads near us turned.The heroine starts crying,he whistled again,now many heads turned.Well it was the climax so i let him watch it,when everythin was over and hero was hugging the heroine,erupted a shout from this guy9my doing as you migt have guessed)"INQUILAB ZINDABAD!!!".Ok now those who think id make a bad senior,get out of it,that guy was enjoying the attention he was getting.
Well the movie was over,i asked his number and told him to come to my room whenever i call,poor guy got really tensed up now,so thought id end it there,but lets ask him to guess my year:).His first guess was that i was third year,god!I dont look that old and i even trimmed my beard that day,so i asked him to guess again.This time he told me that i was a second year,ok not bad.Then i revealed to him that i was freshie.You should have seen his face,that moment was too good,he didnt believe it at first.I had to tell him 3 times to make him believe it.Then his friend who hadnt heard me telling him that i was freshie ,still under the impression that i was freshie came over ."Anna please tell me the name of that senior!",he said pointing at the senior who asked me to take this guys intro.His friend was trying to tell him that i was a freshie but he wouldnt listen,at last i had to shout out to him that i was not a senior.Then i joined my hostel mates and walked off while they stood there dazed.

A Superb start

I dont exactly know where to start,but lets begin with our first roll call.I and Ravi entered the common room together wondering what exactly a roll call is.The common room was empty by the time we entered so obviously we sat where we thought we could have a good view of all that would(me and him being high enthu candidates!) happening,anyway later people started coming in and then Doodh started it,saying"I dont know if seniors are beautiful people but they are good people"There could have been a lot of applause for that,but we were all so apprehensive about what was about to come that we tried to smile but ended up looking as if we had a bad toothache.
Then we were all asked to introduce ourselves and here the fun starts.Each one had a different style of saying what he had to say.One was shaking his hands as if he were rapping while speaking,so he was asked to put his intro the YO-YO style,another was so nervous that he was shaking and twirling his hand like a lady would before meeting her lover.Anyway this went on for sometime and then suddenly it was my turn.I started as everyone else did and at one point said that i watch a lot of movies."What kind of movies?Adult?"a senior asked.I replied immediatly "NO,i watch U/A."Everyone laughed,and a senior(Pole) sitting to my side said"Your name is U/A ra,confirm."
Then there were only 7 people left.There was a freshie(NPS) at our back introducing himself when a senior cracked a joke on something he said and NPS replied"Bad joke."Man!This guy does have some balls to say that to a senior.Ok now dont get too excited and expect him to be Ryan(Hope you all read five point someone) or something of that sort.Then it was Ravi's turn,he went on with the normal thing and then said"Sports are not there in my genes".Now none of the seniors had heard that before.One particular senior(Raj) sitting beside Pole was highly amused by this.
Later on after the roll call was over Pole asked me to stay back to talk,so we did,then he asked my name."Sashi",i replied.
"Not that i want your name.",he said.Now i was confused by this.We repeated this 3 times before i realised that my name was U/A.Then Pole,Raj and Tom and me,Bharat,Ravi(ED) and BTM went over and sat outside our hostel and they were just taking our intros when a senior from Godav came over.
"Freshie aa?",he asked BTM.I dont why and how but BTM said that he was a second year.
Now the senior from Godav was highly confused as were Raj,Pole and Tom.The senior turned towards Raj,but Raj had decided to play it differently,he said"Yes ra he is a second year".
"Why didnt i see him earlier then?",asked the senior from Godav.
"Our second years are like that only raaaaa.See how Ganga has become.Our second years are all maggus raaa.They just dont come out nad meet people.",he said with a very sad and pathetic expression on his face . We were standing there trying hard not to laugh.Then while leaving BTM told the senior that he is a freshie,so the senior decided to take him for a walk,but BTM later told me that the senior hadnt taken him into the hostel and left him by saying that it wasnt a weekend or he would have taken him into his room.There is still a lot more i want to say about my seniors and my life here.......but i cant...reason being obvious....maybe i will in future,so keep waiting.
